Sandy is a director of JMD Ross and is responsible for growth of the company through acquisition and development.
He also oversees development and servicing of larger and international accounts across all professions and industries.
He is a senior associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance, an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a fellow of the National Insurance Brokers' Association, a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an associate fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a member of the Risk Management Institution of Australasia.
Sandy chairs the Australian Association of Lloyd's Members.
He is a regular writer and speaker on risk and insurance issues.
He is well known in the industry for his 20 years' work developing a business that grew to be one of the largest Australian-owned brokerages before its sale in 1989. He joined JMD Ross as an equity partner in 1990.
Sandy and his wife, Helen, have six children.
